  • When can I collect my order?
    For items in stock at store, we will normally have your item ready to collect within 1-2 working days. For items that we don’t have in stock your order will be ready to up to 7 working days depends of our suppliers.
  • How will I know when my order is ready?
    For every order we will send you an e-mail to let you know when your order is ready to collect. If you’ve ordered a bike we will contact you once you have placed your order to arrange a collection time.
  • What do I need to collect my order?
    Please bring with you your confirmation e-mail, a photo proof of ID (i.e. passport, driving licence), and proof of address. We will hold your order in store for 10 days, if you have any problems with getting to the store to collect your order please feel free to use our delivery service for just 10€ south side or north side 15€
  • Can Someone Else Collect My Order?
    Please contact the store you have chosen to collect from in advance and we will do our best to accommodate any changes relating to collection.
  • How do I cancel/change my order?
    If you wish to cancel your order or make any changes please contact the store directly. Please note, full refunds will be made via the original transaction made with our online team.
  • How do I return my order?
    Our normal returns policy applies to all Click & Collect orders, for more information see our returns policy. You can also return directly to the store.
  • Can anyone avail of the bike-to-work scheme?
    The bike to work scheme is aimed at employees under Irish tax system. You must be an employee (pay PRSI PAYE )or a director of a company in order to avail of the tax discount.
  • I’m a sole trader/company owner, can I use this bike-to-work scheme?"
    Only employees who pay PAYE PRSI can use this scheme, but if you are a company director and pay yourself from a business account you can avail of the scheme. If you are self-employed, and using the bike as part of your business and pay VAT, you can reclaim the paid VAT on the bicycle yourself.
  • How much can I spend in the bike-to-work scheme?
    You can get up to €1000 off a new bike/accessories every 5 years.
  • What accessories can I get with the bike-to-work scheme?
    Cycle helmets which conform to European standard EN 1078 Bells and bulb horns Lights, including dynamo packs Mirrors and mudguards to ensure riders visibility is not impaired Cycle clips and dress guards Panniers, luggage carriers and straps to allow luggage to be safely carried Locks and chains to ensure cycle can be safely secured Pumps, puncture repair kits, cycle tool kits and tyre sealant to allow for minor repairs Reflective clothing along with white front reflectors and spoke reflectors
  • Does my employer have to avail of the cycle to work scheme?
    No, it is the employer’s choice whether or not they avail of this scheme.
  • Can all brands and styles of bikes be traded in?
    Yes, all bikes can be traded in. However, it will depend of the conditions of the bike if we can take it or not.
  • What value can I expect for my trade-in?
    Most trade-ins will yield an instant 10% to 20% (up to €100) off the sticker price of the new bike. There may be higher values for newer bikes or collectible race bikes. Bikes with broken shifters and requiring other parts to repair will yield a lower trade-in value.
  • Why trading in your bike is a positive thing to do?
    You receive a discount on a new bike. Gets your old bike out of the garage. Your old bike is refurbished and not sent to a landfill. Someone gets your old bike (tuned and ready to enjoy) at a great price.
  • Do you buy used bikes?
    Yes, we pay cash for old road racing bikes, and occasionally something else.
  • Do you Sell used bikes?
    Yes, please come to the shop and you can check our range of Second Hand Bikes for an unbeatable price.
  • If there is a problem with the bike after I buy it a Second Hand Bike, will you fix it?"
    We don’t specifically offer a guarantee for second hand bikes. However, if there is a problem with the bike shortly after you purchase it, and it is something that we have overlooked, we will rectify it free of charge. If if is something that has occurred as a result of regular wear and tear, or after a few weeks/months of use, We can repair it or upgrade it at a low price, or sometimes at no charge.
  • What happen if your bike or e-scooter is in the shop for more than 40 days after is ready ?
    If after 40 days the bike or e-scooter is not collected, it will be sell to recover the costs of parts, services and storage.

Delivery to Dublin

Life in Motion is pleased to offer Delivery to Dublin South 10€ and Northside 15€.

Delivery to All Other Destination

To ensure lowest postage costs we ship with either Courier or An Post (the Irish postal system) depending on your chosen destination & order weight and size.

Delivery Information


Life in Motion uses Fastway for deliveries throughout Ireland, the UK and the rest of Europe.
All Fastway deliveries can be tracked on the Fastway Ireland website.

Irish Post / An Post

Life in Motion uses Irish Post (An Post) for deliveries of small packages (2kg, or less) within Europe and for delivery of standard items outside Europe (USA, Australia, Japan, Canada and Rest of the World).
All Post deliveries can be tracked through the An Post web site.

Volumetric Rates

Large lightweight items may be charged at Volumetric (Dimensional) rates. This only happens when the volumetric weights exceed the actual weight. We tried our best to make an automatic calculation of postage cost to be as accurate as possible but in some cases surcharge may occur.

Shipping a Bike

Please note, in order to avoid additional shipping costs all bikes shipped require part assembly on the recipients' behalf as we have to re-box the bikes in store.

Collect in Store

A confirmation e-mail will be sent when your order is ready for collection.

All orders placed after 5PM will be processed the following day.

Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed the following Monday.

Ordered items will be available to collect in up to 5 working days if there’s any delay we let you know why that is happening.

Bikes can be pay and ready for collection after 12pm the following day if we have the bike in stock, if not you will have to wait up to 7 working days.

Please provide your mobile number ad email address – this will help us to keep you updated with your order status.

Delivery Targets & Times

Priority Delivery

At Life in Motion, we aim to get your items to you as quickly as we possibly can. To that effect, all priority orders for in-stock items received before 12pm will be dispatched on the same day.

Standard Delivery

We use An Post to ship your order. all orders for in-stock items received before 12pm will be dispatched on the same day. Allow up to 5 days for delivery in the Republic of Ireland and up to 7 days in the UK.


Please ensure you provide the correct address at the time of order as this cannot be rectified once the items have been dispatched. Please note also that our delivery services all require a signature upon receipt, and you will need to be present at the time of delivery for this.

As the time of delivery of the item is beyond our control, we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time nor can we confirm it in advance. Please note that both Fastway and An Post will usually leave a calling card if nobody is present at the time of delivery. Fastway will additionally make 2-3 attempts to deliver, after which time the package will be returned to us.

Saturdays or Bank holidays

Please note that there is no delivery on the above days.

Lost/Missing Deliveries

In the highly unlikely event that your package goes missing or lost after a period of time and cannot be confirmed as having been signed-for by either Fastway, An Post or any other international delivery partner at that time, we will arrange to either resend the goods or refund your payment. Please note that if the original delivery subsequently is made, it must be returned to us or you will be charged twice.


You will receive a tracking number in your email when your goods are dispatched. Simply log on to Fastway or Irish Post web site and check your status.

International Orders (outside Ireland and UK)

Delivery charges for all orders outside Ireland and UK, are subject to re-confirmation at the time of order by our Web Department and are given here as approximate estimates only.

Tax-free shopping is possible for customers outside European Union, however please note that customers outside the EU may also be subject and liable to import taxes/customs or duty fees as applicable in that particular territory and which will be at the expense of the customer and not Life in Motion.

Vat & Duties

Our retail prices are Vat inclusive. The normal rate is 23%. 13.5% on junior helmets and some energy foods.

All orders from outside EU are charged VAT Free.

Credit Card Security

Using Credit Card or Laser Card to make purchases via our web site is a secure way to pay for your items.

For Credit Card & Laser Card Transactions we use(Wix and Adyen B.V)- online payment gateway. Your Credit Card & Laser Card information is not being stored on our server.

We have put a number of security steps in place to give you, the customer, total confidence when purchasing your items via our web site.

All sensitive information, including personal details, is kept confidential through encryption(SSL). This means that information can only be exchanged between you and Life in Motion and that no third party can access this data. A padlock symbol is usually displayed by your browser to show when a page is covered by this security system.

We do not retain live records of credit card information on our web servers after the transaction has been completed (i.e. you will need to enter your details each time you book over the Internet).


All items purchased will be charged in Euro.

For exact conversion rate for your currency, you have to contact your bank or credit card provider

VAT can only be excluded when shipping outside the European Union or to Tax-Free havens.

These are products exclusively for our online store only & cannot be ordered in our retail store.

Store Policy

Store Policy


Here in Life in Motion, we want Our Customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase from us. 

However, if you are not satisfied for any reason with your purchase, we offer the following Returns Policy.


Life in Motion will not accept returns on used or damaged items.

Any items purchased online or in-store excluding Final Sale or Clearance items may be returned for a full refund or exchange within 20 days of the original purchase date. 

To be eligible for a return your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. 

Your item must be in the Original Packaging. 


No returns/exchanges will be accepted after 20 days from the date of purchase.

Bicycle returns are at the discretion of the store manager.

Note: Special Sale order bicycles are not eligible for return. 

Special Orders/Work Orders/Repairs: Bike Tech will not be responsible for bicycles or merchandise left in store beyond 30 days from the completion date/purchase date.

Items left after 30 days will be forfeited and/or sold/disposed of without notice.


Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you of the status of your refund after inspecting the item.   

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your Credit Card or Original method of Payment. You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies. 


You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund the cost of the return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Bike Servicing

Life in Motion is open 6 days per week and we are here when you need us. However, on busy days you may expect some delays.

Completion of work

It is our goal to fix your bike and have it in perfect conditions, ready for you, as soon as possible. However, there may be times when this is not possible. You will be informed in advance, by SMS, email or Phone Call.

Price & Payment

We require the full payment prior to the return of your bicycle. Life in Motion reserves the right to retain your bicycle until you have paid in full.

Collection of Bicycles

Your bicycle must be collected within 7 days of Life in Motion notifying you that it is available. If not collected within the 7 days you might be subject to a charge of 2€ per day.

If after 40 days the bike or e-scooter is not collected, it will be sell to recover the costs of parts, services, and storage.

Personal Items

At Life in Motion, we recommend you remove any personal items left on the bicycle. Life in Motion accepts no liability for any loss or damage to these items.
