WARRANTY INFORMATION

At Life in Motion Bike Shop, we are dedicated to ensuring your cycling experience is top-notch. Below is our warranty information:

Frame and Fork Warranty:

  • We offer a 1-year warranty on the frame and fork against all defects, construction flaws, and craftsmanship for the original owner from the date of purchase under normal use, such as commuting.

  • Non-consumable parts (tyres, tubes, saddle, handlebars, grips, rims, paint, brakes, etc.) are not covered under this warranty.

  • Cosmetic damage caused by impacts, scrapes, chips, bumps, or faded colors due to overexposure to direct sunlight are not covered.

Consumable Parts Warranty (New Bikes):

  • A six-month (180 days) warranty covers consumable parts (saddle, handlebars, grips, rims, brakes, etc.) for all new bikes against defects, construction flaws, and craftsmanship under normal use.

This warranty excludes tubes, tyres, and brake pads.

Manufacturer's Warranty:

  • All goods supplied by Life in Motion Bike Shop are from official sources and are covered by the normal manufacturers’ warranty.

Warranty Limitations:

  • Warranties cover manufacturing faults and defects but do not cover damage caused by crashing, abuse, stunts, and general wear and tear.

  • Regular servicing is crucial for optimal performance. Bikes should be serviced every 3 months, with the first service within the initial 3 months of ownership. Proof is required for any warranty claim.

  • Certain products may need to be returned to our supplier for inspection and possible repair before credit issuance.

Submitting a Claim:

  • Claims should be sent to Lifeinmotionbs@gmail.com

  • We may request photographs of damage and detailed information about the issue. Replacement of damaged parts, rather than the entire bicycle, may be considered.

  • We reserve the right to refuse claims for bikes subjected to abnormal use.

Conditions for Warranty Claims: Claims will only be accepted if:

  • The claim is from the original owner and is supported by proof of purchase.

  • The bicycle has been used for its intended purpose without modifications.

  • A first service has been performed by a professional bicycle mechanic within 6 months of purchase.

  • The bike's suspension system was serviced by an authorized dealer at least once per year.

Exclusions: Please note that the warranty does not cover the following:

Water Damage: Damage caused by water exposure is not covered under warranty.

Warranty in Repairs:

If a puncture occurs after a repair, we will inspect if it is related to the wheel or tire. If we advise replacing the tire and the customer declines, they will be responsible for any subsequent puncture repair costs.

Puncture repairs do not cover damage to the tube itself. If something is found inside the tube, it will not be covered under warranty.

Tube damage will not be covered after a week from the repair date.

Claim Process: In the event of a warranty claim related to the motor or batteries, please contact our customer service team with your proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue. We will assess the claim and, if deemed valid, provide repair or replacement of the defective parts.
