This smooth-welded frame comes equipped with integrated LED lighting on both front and rear, plus an optional rear rack with an LED for enhanced visibility. With a choice between a sleek handlebar display or an in-frame display, the R1 stands out with a modern, streamlined look.
In 2022, we upgraded the R1 to a Gates Carbon Belt Drive paired with a Shimano Nexus 3-speed internal gearing system. This maintenance-free drivetrain delivers a smooth ride, lasting over 30,000 kilometers without needing oil or adjustments.
 
Powered by a 500Wh Samsung battery, the R1 provides over 100 kilometers of range per charge. The lockable, removable battery makes charging flexible and easy, and our fast chargers complete a full charge in under 5 hours.
 
With Shimano drivetrain components and Tektro hydraulic brakes, the R1 is engineered to deliver optimal control, safety, and comfort for city commutes.
